Piura promotes tourist attractions from Sullana

A series of cultural, artistic, gastronomic and informative expositions are being organized by the provincial municipality of Sullana, in Piura, to promote the tourist attractions from this northern part of the country.

The municipality said that local artisans, painters and writers will participate in this activity exhibiting their work inspired in this location.

Students from the International School of Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, Tourism and Services (CETURHG) will make an exposition and will offer typical dishes to the public.

The activity will take place on Friday 22 while photographs of touristic places from Sullana will be exhibited on Tuesday 26.

Also hotels, recreation centers and discos will offer free passes to the public. The exposition will take place at Sullana’s Main Square during 15 days.

Sullana, situated on the Chira River, is a tourist province and also an important commercial centre in one of Peru’s major cotton-growing areas.
