VII National Pisco Sour Festival opens today in Surco district

Peru's Ministry of Production, the National Commission of Pisco (Conapisco) and the Municipality of Surco, open Thursday the 7th National Pisco Sour Festival at the Parque de la Amistad in Surco district.

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste Peru’s flagship drink and enjoy a series of artistic and cultural activities.

The festival, hosted by Surco's major juan manuel del Mar, will open at 12:00 (local time) with a Pisco Sour toast.
 
A pisco sour contest in the professional category will take place on February 5, with artistic shows performed by Group "Libertad”, Group  “X confirmar” and César Quintana's “Son y Cajón”.

On Saturday 6, another pisco sour contest will take place, this time, in the producer's category. The children's show and musical shows will be performed by “Leticia Curay”, “Tony Cam” and “ La Kao Band ”.
 
The celebrations will end on Sunday, Feb 8 with the final of the Pisco Sour contest in the champions category, while "Wayanay”, “Eduardo del Perú” and “Kimbafa” will delight the public with thier music.
