Lima, Oct. 02 (ANDINA). Peru’s President of the Council of Ministers Juan Jimenez said Tuesday that Arab entrepreneurs have expressed their interest to invest U$ 200 million in five hotel projects in the country and build a mall at the Costa Verde (green coast), located in the Peruvian capital.
Peru's government is trying to persuade Emirates Airlines to start offering service to the Andean country sooner than planned, Jiménez said.
Peru offers clear rules and a stable country as well as a strong democracy, he said in the sidelides of the Business Meeting "Peru: A Land of Opportunities", held Tuesday at the 3rd Business Meeting of South America and Arab Countries (ASPA).
"We strongly believe that private investment, which is a guarantee of development, and Public-Private Partnership go hand in hand," he added
Jiménez noted Peru is regarded as a country with high economic growth and democratic stability, with a strong and dynamic private investment.
