This Friday a total of 35 museums in the Historic Center of Lima will open at special hours of 5 pm to 10 pm for a new edition of the Night of Museums, an initiative of the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima which aims to bring people to spaces "where history and heritage of the country known in an interactive, fun and friendly."
Through this initiative, spaces like the Lima Art Museum (MALI), the Museum of Italian Art, the Peruvian Literature House and the Metropolitan Museum of Lima, among many others, can be visited for free.
Meanwhile, places like the Museum of Religious Art of the Cathedral of Lima and Santo Domingo Convent Museum S/.1 charge income, while the entrance to the museum and catacombs of the Convento de San Francisco de Asis have a value of S / 3 for adults and for children S/.1.
Besides visiting the museum, people can enjoy parades, juggling and mime on the streets of downtown.
The Museum Night hopes to gather a total of 20,000 visitors.
